My main research interests are in the field of observational seismology. My current research is focused on near real-time determination of global earthquake source parameters and the seismo and tsunami-genesis of shallow subduction zone earthquakes. I am working with the ARIA-EQ teams at Caltech and JPL to improve the capabilities of a system to determine fast finite source models for worldwide earthquakes. I am developing automation tools for selecting and conditioning broadband seismic and tsunami data, and am contributing to the overall design and development of the ARIA-EQ system.
