The Seismological Laboratory is the working environment of the people who study earthquakes. Scheduled tours meet in the South Mudd main entrance courtyard. Click here for a campus map. The tour includes the Exhibit Center and the Media Room. Tour guides discuss how scientists gather information, study earthquakes, and use this information to understand our earth.
For Students (Grades 6 and Up)
Months: October through December and February through June Days: The first Tuesday and Thursday of the above months Times: 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Reservations must be made 2 months in advance.
For the General Public
When space permits, a limited number of people may be allowed to join already scheduled tours. Reservations must be made at least one week in advance.
