Tyler Hovarth, UCLA,

For more than 17 years, the Diviner Lunar Radiometer Experiment aboard NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) has continuously mapped lunar surface temperatures, producing the second-largest dataset in planetary science. The Diviner team has used these data to characterize the thermophysical properties and thermal environments of a range of unique geologic features, making discoveries that have helped shape the direction of NASA's Artemis and CLPS programs. This talk will cover recent findings from Diviner and other LRO instruments, the present state of lunar science, studies currently in progress, and ways seismology could help answer open questions in the field.
